On 9 August, 2024, in the Metsamor community, within the framework of the “Strengthening of Rights Protection Mechanisms of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Nagorno Karabakh” Project, the lawyer of the Project provided free legal advice to forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh.
During the meeting, project lawyer Miss Marianna Avagyan presented the electronic platform armrights.am created within the framework of the project. She explained in detail the nature and significance of each section of the site. In addition, Miss Avagyan demonstrated how to submit an application and track its progress using the code provided.
Also, a number of issues of concern of the citizens of Artsakh were clarified. They were mainly related to the social assistance programs provided to forcibly displaced persons from Nagorno Karabakh, the procedures for restoring the birth certificate, marriage certificate and military book, property tax on vehicles and the grounds for the origin, changes, transfer and termination of the rights to real estate.
Ms Julietta Arustamyan, chairman of the Governing Board of the Network of CSOs for the Protection of the Rights of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Artsakh, Executive Director of the Shushetsi Women NGO “Harmonia” participated in the meeting as well.
