The main goal of the platform is to promote the integration of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh in Armenia by strengthening the mechanisms for protecting their rights.
The objectives of the platform are:
- To register, accept, and examine applications, complaints, and suggestions (hereinafter referred to as applications) submitted by forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh regarding legal issues with state and local self-government bodies, courts, (state-owned) organizations, and public significance individual entrepreneurs, in order to present them to the competent state and local self-government bodies and provide legal assistance,
- To highlight and publicize the legal issues of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh in order to make their legal needs heard, solve problems, and implement more effective protection of rights,
- To post legal awareness information about the rights, legitimate interests, and protection guarantees of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh in order to raise their level of legal awareness,
- To carry out fundraising and involve supporting lawyers, human rights defenders, and attorneys in order to effectively and sustainably solve legal problems and protect the rights of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh,
- To present issues collected based on applications to relevant authorities and support the implementation of evidence-based reforms by competent authorities aimed at effective and sustainable protection of the rights of forcibly displaced persons from Artsakh,
- To present the activities of the CSO network for "Protection of Rights of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Artsakh" and its member CSOs.
The platform is operated by the "Armenian Lawyers' Association" non-governmental organization. The platform has been prepared within the framework of the "Strengthening the Mechanisms for Protecting the Rights of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Nagorno-Karabakh" project implemented with the financial support of the European Union.
The website has been created and is being updated within the framework of the sub-grant "Strengthening the Mechanisms for Protecting the Rights of Forcibly Displaced Persons from Artsakh" of the "Monitoring of Judicial Reforms in Armenia" project ongoing with the financial support of the European Union.
